A: Walk in customers are always welcome however, advanced appointments are required to shop for bridal. This ensures that you will receive the one-on-one personal consultation and full attention you deserve from our knowledgeable sales staff.
Q: Are alterations included in the price of my gown or bridal party?
A: Alterations are not included in the price of our gowns and the cost of alterations depends on the extent of work required for both wedding gowns and attendant attire. Lillian's seamstresses' are independent of us and will only charge for what needs to be done, therefore, we do not have a set package price. Pressing and stuffing are included in the price of alterations. We offer alteration services to our customers as a convenience, however, please note that you are not required to use our seamstresses. If scheduling is an issue, Lillian's will provide an alternative list of seamstresses we use throughout the South Shore. It's important to know that we DO NOT profit from alteration services as most salons do.
Q: Can you order a gown I saw in a bridal magazine?
A: Lillian's can special order any gown made by a designer whose dresses we currently carry. Once a bridal gown is ordered it will take approximately 4 to 5 months to arrive at Lillian's. We do, however, have many designers who can accommodate orders of less than two months. Sometimes a rush fee will be incurred although, this is not always the case. Bridesmaids gowns take approximately 12 weeks to arrive, however, we recommend you order at least six months prior to your wedding to ensure time for each bridesmaid to schedule an alteration appointment in a timely manner.
Q: Does Lillian's offer special discounts?
A. All brides will receive 10% off their Bridesmaids, Flower Girls and Mother's orders when their gown is purchased at Lillian's. Also check our Monthly Specials page and our Gift Certificate page for special discounts.
Q: Do you offer dress preserving services?
A: Although we do not provide this service on site, Lillian's would be happy to offer a list of reputable vendors who specialize in the preservation of gowns.
Q: Can sample gowns be purchased "right off the rack"?
A: YES, all our sample gowns are available for purchase "right off the rack" at a discount of 15% if time is of the essence, however we suggest that orders be placed whenever possible.
Q. What is the average price of your bridal gowns?
A. Our bridal gowns range in price from $500 to $2,800 with the average price of a bridal gown being $1,200. Lillian's receives new gowns year round, therefore, if you didn't see the gown of your dreams on your first visit, you may want to set up an appointment for a second or even third visit. We feel confident that we have something for everyone. | |
